TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT UNDER THE AEGIS OF GPSC
Game. Grit. Glory. – Honouring a Timeless Legacy
In a heartfelt tribute to the visionary Founder Chairperson, Late Shri Brahm Dutt Gulati ji, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School proudly hosted the Shri Brahm Dutt Gulati Memorial Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament on April 21 & 22, 2025, under the esteemed patronage of GPSC.
Bringing together over 250 spirited participants from 20 renowned schools across the city, the tournament was a celebration of resilience, precision, and sporting excellence. The inaugural ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and harmony, followed by a soul-stirring Ganesh Vandana performed by students, invoking divine blessings for the days ahead.
The event was formally declared open by Ms. Alka Singh, Vice-Chairperson, GPSC and Principal, Blue Bells Model School. In her inspiring address, she urged the budding athletes to embrace competition with integrity and unity, embodying the values that Shri B.D. Gulati ji stood for. Adding to the energy of the opening, a friendly exhibition match between Ms. Singh and Chief Referee Mr. Prashant Yadav captivated the audience and set the competitive tone for the tournament.
Across two dynamic days, the school campus transformed into a hub of spirited matches, echoing with cheers, claps, and the rhythm of determination. More than a contest, the event became a platform for connection, collaboration, and character building, celebrating both legacy and the limitless potential of youth.
The Closing Ceremony, graced by the honourable Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of Blue Bells Group of Schools, was a fitting culmination to this grand celebration. Her words of encouragement resonated deeply with the young players, reminding them that perseverance and passion are the true hallmarks of champions.
As the tournament drew to a close, the Overall Runners-up Trophy was claimed by Bal Bharati Public School, Manesar, while DPS Sector 45, Gurugram emerged as the Overall Champions. The prize distribution ceremony honoured not just victory but effort, enthusiasm, and the enduring spirit of sportsmanship.
This event was not just a tribute—it was a legacy relived, passed on, and carried forward with pride, purpose, and promise.
