Health Care
The school has a well-equipped Medical Room with full-time nurses and doctors to provide first aid to students and staff. The annual medical check-up is an important regular event of the school.
All parents are requested to make their children aware of the following healthy practices:
Maintain personal hygiene—trimming nails, regular haircuts, and general neatness.
Exercise regularly.
Sleep for at least eight hours every night.
Have a nutritionally balanced diet.
Drink adequate amount of water and stay well-hydrated.
Parents are also requested to take care of the following health-related requirements of their children
- Get dental and ophthalmic check-up of the child done by a specialist once a year.
- Deworm your child at least once a year—consult your family physician.
- Get your child Immunised as per the Government guidelines—consult your paediatrician.
- Students suffering from infectious diseases like conjunctivitis, dermatitis, scabies, chicken pox, measles, etc. should not be sent to school.
- Students suffering from chronic diseases like asthma, epilepsy, rheumatic heart diseases, diabetes, etc. are advised to be under continuous medical supervision of a specialist doctor. History of their illness must be filled up in the Almanac along with the treatment being taken.
