A Workshop on Board Exam Preparation Strategies by Alumna Sanjeeta (Batch of 2019)
On March 19, 2025, Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School hosted an insightful workshop on “Tips for Board Exam Preparation”, conducted by alumna Sanjeeta, from the batch of 2019. The session was designed to equip students with effective strategies to prepare confidently and efficiently for their upcoming board examinations.
The workshop began with an interactive segment where students voiced their concerns and anxieties related to exams. This created a relatable and open atmosphere, allowing the facilitator to address real challenges faced by students. Sanjeeta then led a detailed discussion on decoding the exam pattern, understanding question formats, and interpreting marking schemes—critical aspects of smart exam preparation.
Students were introduced to a range of proven study techniques, including the Pomodoro Technique, active recall, mind mapping, and spaced repetition—all designed to enhance memory retention and concentration. Practical advice was also shared on crafting balanced study timetables, setting realistic academic goals, and maintaining consistency in preparation.
A dedicated segment focused on exam-day strategies, where students learned how to manage their time effectively during the paper, prioritize sections wisely, and present their answers neatly to maximize impact.
To support emotional well-being, the session also included tips on managing exam stress through relaxation exercises, positive thinking, and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits. The workshop concluded with an engaging Q&A session, followed by a goal-setting activity that encouraged students to structure their daily routines with discipline and self-confidence.
Overall, the workshop was highly informative and motivating. Students left the session feeling better prepared, more organized, and empowered to face their board exams with a renewed sense of confidence.
