Rakhis of Respect: Students Honour Soldiers with Love and Pride
On August 8, 2025, the young ambassadors of Classes III to V embarked on a heartwarming and patriotic journey to the NCC Office at Gurugram University to celebrate Raksha Bandhan in a significant way. With reverence shining in their eyes and gratitude brimming in their hearts, they tied exquisitely handcrafted rakhis on the wrists of our nation’s braveheart jawans. They offered them sweets, symbols of love, respect, and deep appreciation for their selfless service.
The soldiers, touched by the innocence and sincerity of the students’ gesture, responded with warmth and encouragement, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of unity and mutual admiration. This poignant interaction not only honoured the spirit of Raksha Bandhan but also ignited in the young minds a profound sense of national pride, empathy, and gratitude. The experience etched lasting impressions, reinforcing the students’ understanding of true heroism and leaving them inspired by the courage and commitment of our nation’s real guardians.
